I got a bunch of these paper and feather butterflies from NYC after I fell in love with the way they were used to decorate the gown on the cover of Martha Stewart's mag. I need to come up with a great way to shoot them. I'm thinking something outdoors - maybe in the snow once winter comes around. hmmmm... interesting...
Traveling Far for Love.
type='html'>My big sis is engaged to a southern boy. We had a big family engagement party for them this past weekend and had an amazing few nights. It was the ultimate in Greek events which started on Saturday night with a cookout at my house for the out-of-towners. Sunday, we got our hair done and then set up the most beautiful hall at The Golden Bull in Bethesda. It was a beautiful affair.
Yummy baklava and other Greek desserts for the party. My roommates were loving all these leftovers :)

Greek people don't mess around when it comes to food.
Hair stylist did these curls with a flat iron. Wrapped strands around and curled like she was using scissors to curl ribbon. It was kind of amazing to see.
My sistas are so pretty.
